This is an original 1909 black and white print ad for the American Lady Shoe, "an all patent leather blucher with flexible oak soles and wide ribbon stays," from the Hamilton, Brown Shoe Company, of St. Louis and Boston. The Hamilton Brown Shoe Company began in St. Louis and was originally named Bryan, Brown & Company and in 1893 was changed to Brown Shoe Company.
